President's Message

Greetings One and All!
The Men's Garden Club of Wethersfield is an active, vibrant and involved group of individuals who share a common interest in growing plants and gardening. Our members include a broad spectrum of working professionals and retirees. We meet on the fourth Monday of the month in the Pitkin Community Center in Wethersfield, CT at 7:00PM.  Most meetings include a program and light refreshments. Our most significant community project is the care and maintenance of the Weston Rose Garden, adjacent to the Town Hall and Library. Our annual plant sale, usually the second Saturday in May, is always a popular event. We also learn from each other, as in sharing gardening tips and making suggestions for "going green".
If you would like to learn more about our group or would like to join us, please see our Contact Us page for more information.

Mission Statement

The objective of this Club shall be to devote its energies to the promotion of the full appreciation of gardening, landscaping and horticultural activities. The Club shall also cultivate higher ideals among garden devotees; promote the adoption of higher garden standards in the community for the benefit of individuals; develop the love of growing plants in the hearts of children, particularly among those for whom opportunities are restricted; promote enduring friendships, civic activities and general interest in both individual and private gardens, community planting and parks.
